This room was very large with a high wooden ceiling. This makes it difficult to light it evenly throughout because there is no ceiling to bounce light off of. It used a method know as HDR (High Dynamic Range) to pull it off. I try to only use this method when necessary because it can sometimes look over processed but I think it worked well here.
The shower photo was a challenge because it is surrounded by glass. I wanted to be able to see through the glass into the shower with a minimum of reflections. A long exposure utilizing available light and a bit of HDR pulled it off nicely.
